[St. Paul, MN, October 2, 2023] -- The Minnesota Academy of Science (MAS) is pleased to announce the addition of Jahnavi Darji of Eden Prairie to its Board of Directors. Dr. Darji, a Client Formulary Director at CVS Health, has an extensive record of service to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) educational opportunities. She has served as a judge at the Minnesota State Science and Engineering Fair and the Twin Cities Regional Science Fair, a coach and judge for FIRST Robotics, and a volunteer for various STEM programs.
As a committed supporter of STEM education, Dr. Darji will play an important role in guiding MAS’ mission of providing opportunities for Minnesotans of all backgrounds to engage in STEM-related learning, inquiry, research, and networking. “I come from a family of STEM professionals and see the importance of STEM in the world,” said Dr. Darji. “We are amidst a STEM evolution where STEM skills are integral to every area of our society. Development and encouragement of STEM education for our youth is imperative to build 21st century skills.” Darji received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kansas in 2006.
