2025 EVENT INFORMATION 

The 2025 Winchell Symposium will be held Saturday, April 26, at North Hennepin Community College!

The 2024 Winchell Undergraduate Research Symposium was held on April 13 at St. Mary's University in Winona. See the 2024 Winchell Symposium program and the Winchell Judges’ Choice Awards.

2025 Symposium Schedule:

• 8:45-9:15 am Check-in at welcome tables

• 9:15 am Welcome & Keynote Address

• 10:30 am-12:15 pm Breakout Sessions

  • Panel of STEM Industry Professionals

  • Panel of STEM Graduate & Professional Students

  • other topical sessions for students and faculty members

• 12:15-1:15 pm Box Lunch and interest group discussions

• 1:30-2:30 pm Student Research Oral Presentations

• 2:40-4:00 pm Student Research Poster Sessions  

• 4:00-4:20 pm Refreshments

• 4:20-4:45 pm Closing Remarks & Awards

Driving & Parking Information: The 2025 symposium will be held at North Hennepin Community College (7411 85th Avenue North, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445), in the Bioscience & Health Careers Center and Center for Business & Technology. Both buildings are adjacent to the East Parking Lot, which has an entrance on 85th Ave. N. Parking is free of charge for attendees, and there is plenty of space to accommodate buses.

PLANNING COMMITTEE

The MAS Annual Meeting and Winchell Undergraduate Research Symposium is planned by a volunteer group of academic researchers and professors from participating institutions.
